Most memory care facilities do not provide a high staffing ratio, they generally have a staffing ratio of 8-10:1. Staffing ratio in a memory care should be ideally 5:1 which means for every 5 residents there should be 1 caregiver present. Seasons Alzheimer’s Care and Assisted Living keeps a low caregiver-to-resident ratio, typically about one caregiver for every four to five residents on the floor, not counting administrators or cooks. Actual staffing varies by shift.
